The supplement combines echinacea extract, MSM and glycerine, creating a palatable and effective formula that helps to sustain normal immune function and support the horse’s natural resistance. For best results, NAF recommends an initial loading dose of 40–60 ml per day for 7–10 days, followed by a maintenance dose of 15–30 ml daily. One litre provides approximately 33 days’ supply at the standard rate. The liquid can be easily added to feed and should be shaken well before use to ensure consistency.
As with all supplements, NAF advises checking current competition regulations before use—Echinacea Plus carries a 48-hour withdrawal time under FEI rules.
